Essay and Debate Competition

We are excited to announce an engaging and thought-provoking essay and debate competition, inviting students from various academic levels to participate and share their insights on contemporary issues. This competition will be held in two categories, each focused on a unique but equally significant topic.

Group A:
Participants from standards 10, 11, and 12 will discuss “Changes & Challenges in 21st Century India.” This theme offers young minds the opportunity to delve into the evolving landscape of India in areas such as technology, education, economy, and social dynamics. As the nation experiences rapid development and globalization, students are invited to explore the transformations that have shaped modern India, while reflecting on the challenges faced in adapting to these changes. Their essays should provide an analysis of key issues like unemployment, digital transformation, climate change, and the balance between tradition and progress. (Word limit: 300-350 words)

Group B:
Graduate and vocational students will debate the topic, “Industrial Growth and the Natural Environment Cannot Coexist.” As India continues to develop its industrial capabilities, the conflict between economic growth and environmental sustainability has become a central issue. This competition will challenge participants to argue for or against the idea that industrial growth inherently leads to environmental degradation. They will explore solutions such as sustainable development, green technologies, and governmental policies that seek to balance economic progress with ecological preservation. The goal is to foster critical thinking about how industry and the environment can coexist in harmony, if at all. (Word limit: 400 words)

This competition encourages students to enhance their research, analytical, and communication skills, providing a platform to voice their thoughts on pressing issues that shape India’s future. Winners will be awarded certificates and prizes, recognizing their contributions to these important conversations.
